Harari points out that Hitler and Stalin could not enslave mankind but that, thanks to the technology he proposes, corporations and wealthy individuals can now do so. It could hardly be a plainer statement of intent.
It is, as Sears points out, not Schwab’s choice. It is ours. We must gird our loins and allow righteous anger to burn this parasitic force away if we wish as a species to continue our journey as sovereign individuals.
